The present day lovers seek to find the truth of what happened to the 1870's Quella Prys who simply vanished from all public records in May of 1874 after she died in childbirth. Garnett had preceded her in death in November of 1873 after a sudden illness. Will history repeat itself? Or will the present day Garnet and Quella manage to find the happiness and long life together that eluded their namesake ancestors in the Victorian age?
