Nellie's Nightmare Sheri Palmer

I spent many years with this horse. Riding her bareback, napping across her wide back, played games with my brother, using her hind legs as spin poles going around and around underneath her belly. She would give us horsey hugs, resting her head on our shoulder and lean on our head. Never biting or kicking. We had eight horses but "Nellie" was the only one we could climb all over and play underneath of her. "Nellie" was a charmer, running to greet you and sniffing your shirt pockets and hands looking for an apple or tobacco. She was another remarkable animal who lived on the Wheeler farm in Upstate New York. Please enjoy the book. Thank You.
