Mara is an adventurous young lady from Houston, Texas. She has a large family, including her brother Johnson Bullocks. One day, Mara is abducted by a strange man. Johnson Bullocks becomes driven to become an astronaut because of the loss of his sister Mara. Upon his first mission to an inhabited world, he finds the answer he's been looking for. Mara has been taken to the exoplanet that NASA is exploring. She has become the captive companion of the King. Author Emily Bonar is a graduate of The Ohio State University.
