Is the Devil a bogeyman or a defeated foe? The answer to this question determines the way we relate to God and our fellow humans. When we ascribe our successes to our efforts and blame Satan for our woes, we cast him in a light that contradicts God's word. Man was created with a free will. A trillion devils cannot force a sane man to act outside his will. This book portrays the lives of eight principal characters who made the devil their bogeyman. They lived in their self-made prisons and wasted their lives in pursuit of ungodly ambitions. At the end of time when they stood before their Creator, they blamed the devil for their wasted years. They refused to take responsibility for their actions while on earth. Well, Satan would have none of that, so he hires a lawyer to represent him in God's court. Though this book is a work of fiction, some of the incidents are not. They happen every day. My heart desire is that every man will take responsibility for his or her life and stop ascribing power to the devil for he has none. For the Christians among us, can you explain why a being that is 'under our feet' should deserve your worship? Yes. Worship. You worship Satan every Sunday (or any other day) when you devote thirty to forty minutes to talk about him before you start praising the Father. How can a defeated foe attract so much attention from blood-bought children of God? It's time to let the devil stay where he belongs- under our feet!
