A continuation of Aubrey Carson's and Grayson Grant's story... Aubrey Carson's life was full. In the past year, she had met the handsome co-host of WZCM's popular morning show, Grayson Grant and was now engaged to marry him. Her fiancé had just finalized the adoption of a wonderful ten-year old boy, Jake, whose parents were killed in an automobile accident, giving her a chance at being the mother she had always dreamed of. She and Grayson had met at an event sponsored by WZCM, when her sister, Annie, tried to set her up with his morning co-host, Mark Anderson. After rudely turning down the suggestion to ask Aubrey out, Mark grew increasingly infatuated with her as he stood by and watched his co-anchor and friend with her. Before moving on to be a national news anchor, Mark had professed to Aubrey that he had fallen in love with her and asked her to move away with him. Aubrey, however, only had eyes for Grayson. Despite being treated terribly by her ex-husband, Kevin, she was ready to give love another chance. Living close to her beloved sister, also meant living close enough to Kevin to run into him frequently. When she did, he never ceased to remind her what a jerk he was and how much better off she was with Grayson. Now, with the help of her favorite event planner, Horton Jackson, aka HJ, and Annie, she was preparing for a life of happiness with Grayson and Jake. Yes, Aubrey Carson was on top of the world, until someone from Grayson's past sends her world spinning out of control.
