Life is full of relationships. Relationships are the essence and expression of life itself. They can be the source of our greatest joy or the place of our deepest pain. They can be enmeshed, strained, rewarding, complex or burdensome. We wrestle not against 'flesh and blood' but against 'principalities and powers and spiritual wickedness in high places'. We wrestle against sin and forces of evil that are real and active in sabotaging our conversations and interactions with ourselves and each other. Every relationship we will ever have comes out of our relationship we have with ourselves. Doing Relationships God's Way offers us a biblical foundation and great opportunity to examine our own thought process knowing that not every thought we think, are thoughts we thought. As we realign ourselves with the truth of God's Word our relationships begin to heal. Knowing who we are in Christ will enable us to navigate through the rough waters of offence, control and rejection. Our relationship with God provides the foundation for our relationships with ourselves and others. Only when those relationships are in place is it safe to love others as God has commanded us.
