This book has been coming for a long time, and it has changed a lot over time. It's a collection of random parts of my life put together in a bit of a jumbled story mode, mixed with poetry that goes along with the story. This book is my very own version of a personal memoir poetry book that'll be sure to make you feel. This is my story, and I wrote it for those who can relate. For those who truly know me, you know how I love all things natural and authentic. Well, that includes our feelings. Over time I have grown to believe that feelings should always be accompanied by logic, but I also believe that we get to be real with how we feel and where we are coming from. We get to connect in ways that are powerful and rare. This book is my chance to connect with you all in a major and personal way.

Hi, I'm Naami. Born Naami Jane Mohamed, to a half British half Kenyan mother and half British half Jamaican father. I was raised by my mother and grandparents in Liverpool England for the first half of my childhood before migrating to America. At the age of 15 I developed a love for story writing and poetry. That passion only grew over time and when I was around 18 years old, I began writing my first book.
