Mr. Ben Sanders has developed a very useful tool to encourage all of us to develop the discipline of meditating on scripture. This handy text allows us to choose a passage of scripture and make this verse or verses to be the prayer focus of our lives for a 40 day period. If we miss, it is no problem. The text gently invites us to continue. This discipline will help us think, and pray, memorize, and meditate upon God's word in ever deeper ways, day by day. I affirm the need to help the Church recapture a focus on God's word. I encourage you to try this simple tool to aid that process by which God will bring growth through the Holy Spirit to your life.
