Courtney Vonn is laser-focused on building her corporate management career. Finding the man God wants her to marry isn't scheduled in her Outlook calendar until Q3 next year. So of course she meets Jim Divala now, ruthless business piranha with a reputation for crunching data and idiots with his teeth. Courtney discovers Jim is nothing like the office rumors and in turn gains a leadership mentor. They learn both their mothers died from the same disease when they were children and quickly develop a bond beyond colleagues. Except there's one small obstacle: their company's no-fraternization policy. Jim doesn't believe the policy is relevant in today's corporate environment, whereas Courtney is too new in her career at Warner's to believe otherwise. While exploring their growing personal feelings, Courtney experiences a health scare. She feels like she's playing a game of warehouse chutes and corporate ladders while balancing everyday life.
