Grace is a gift, unexpected, undeserved, and always appreciated. November is traditionally a month to celebrate gratitude, and in the United States, a month in which Americans celebrate Thanksgiving. This devotional celebrates the relationship between gratitude and grace. I wrote this devotional message during one of the most challenging times of my life. Maybe you've gone through a time like that, or you're going through one now. You wonder if things will turn out positive, and if so, when? You wonder if you did something to cause this or if you failed to do something that could have prevented it. If you're a believer, you know God is there, but you wonder why so much of what matters to you, or someone you know, seems to be on hold or struggling to get air. You believe in mercy. You believe in grace. You believe in salvation. Despite how everything looks and feels in any given moment, here's the truth: God is the Author of Grace.
