Perfection? is a poetry collection that serves as a lens through which to view a mixture of current issues and very old matters of the heart. The author highlights, in some cases poignantly and in other cases angrily, the imperfection of life and the struggle to rise to something better. In We Home, she takes on recent and past events to explain why America is most definitely home; while, the pain of relationships gone wrong and the isolation that can be found in social media are explored in other poems. The piece titled, A Preacher A Wife and A Judge, adds a surprising bit of humor from the ending of an imperfect marriage.
