On an emergency night shift at a hospital, the power goes out and Stan is knocked unconscious after an accident. He wakes to find he is completely alone and unable to open any doors or windows. When he eventually breaks out he realises he is trapped in a living nightmare and nothing is what it seems. Every living thing he comes into contact with has frozen and distorted as if someone has hit the pause button. Unable to find anyone or help, he lives each day and fights for survival as a mysterious figure hunts him relentlessly. Stan becomes trapped in a living nightmare, repeating each day with no escape, hoping that one day the nightmare will end.
