Marin Sims is on the edge of a breakdown. She's 9 months pregnant and her mom is dead. The father of her child is a million miles away and in harm's way AND she's not sure he's the one after all. But her day isn't half as bad as her mom's. Eva hadn't been dead three days but the afterlife was plum wearing her out. While she, the Person, had spent the last three days learning the rules of the Moving Up and the Moving On, the rest of HERs had been sitting on the curb outside the church hashing it out. Each was making the case for why SHE should move up while the others move on. Over the next few days, Eva must choose the version of herself, the perfect snapshot, of the she she wants to be forever, while Marin has to figure out how to let them all go.
