In the spirit of John Stuart Mill's On Liberty, come consider the strengths and weaknesses of science and religion. They are the two major ways western civilization has explored Reality. Can both provide valid information about the nature of Reality? Would you like to give the definition of "valid" a go?

If you are doing science you likely favor objectivity. If you are doing art or in church, subjectivity. Of course there is always a mixture, just a different emphasis. The most creative find the best balance for whatever they are trying to accomplish or understand. They combine intellect and emotions, facts and imagination, observation and intuition.

than my talent for absorbing positive knowledge.

Now and then take a break and go run with the tigers. Go Tiger 1 and come sit on a park bench with me. As people go by, go back and forth between the two ways to experience Reality.

Then go Tiger 2 and give Reality a great big hug.
