The Babineaux family just moved into a new apartment in the city. Letti, the eldest of the three children, believes she understands the reasons behind the unexpected move. But there is more to the story than she thinks. As her family begins to settle in and become acquainted with their new neighbors, she hears mysterious and unsettling rumors about the Frenchman who lives in the apartment above them.
