Brett, a laid-back California surfer, and recent college grad now searching to find a meaningful future path to follow. He finds himself interning at a consulate in the middle east when different fanatical religious and political factions rip the little country apart. Brett is left wondering how to keep himself alive as he attempts to escape the country quietly and unwittingly find himself the focus of attention from all sides of the conflict. Brett just wants to go home to his family, girlfriend, and surfboard.
