Merry Ellie is the story of a teenage girl's suicide told from three separate documents she leaves behind before she dies: A Diary, A Letter to Her Mother and A Manifesto. These different texts detail why she is committing suicide, the ideal world in her eyes and how she plans on killing herself. These writings often include several controversial social and political opinions; this is not a book for the faint of heart.
