In the management of the behavior of children, there are a number of behavioral principles that are employed by parents. Using proven principles to guide the parent is to assure that the parent is consistent and effective in their management and discipline of their children. It is important for parents to see themselves as being able to bring about positive changes in the behavior patterns of their children. Read each question and consider how you would handle that particular situation or utilizing that particular discipline strategy in the home with your children. It is recommended that you read one item per day or week. Do so for 30 days or weeks as you learn effective parenting strategies.
