"Leave it in the past", I tell my daughters, "The past can mold and shape us, but it should not consume us." What shakes our faith? Who walks with us? This is the story of the important things and people in my life who have helped make me who I am today as a wife, mother, and daughter. Come journey with me through my experiences through the valleys and mountains. I have walked with God, away from God, and many times had to surrender to God and let him take control. I have learned how that time flashes as a blink of the eye and prayer is the only way to climb from the valley to the mountaintop. If I can give to you one thing it is this book of encouragement. That is what I hope I have accomplished through the writing of this book. I want to encourage you, the reader. I want you to see that everyone has struggles. It's how we handle those struggles that really count. What time is it for you right now? Embrace it. It is but a steppingstone in the molding and shaping of our lives. Do you find yourself in the valleys or on the mountaintops? Wherever it may be, God is there. As Tracy Dartt wrote in his song, "The God on the mountain is still God in the valley." It doesn't matter where you are, God is there to carry you. I am Amanda Baker Seal. I am a preacher's kid of ten years. I love music and writing.
