My personal journey within a dark season affected my outcome and choices along the path of development to adulthood. The residual of such season left me in a broken fragmented spiritual, emotional, and physical dilemma. The vision of hope was so blurry leaving me to question my faith in God to the point of unbelief, a period of uncertainty and hopelessness. My nursing career became a flickering light as it kept my mind focus and away from the existing problems. Caring and serving others provided me with diversity to culture, ethnicity, values and belief on a magnitude of authenticity words cannot express. It opened my eyes to death, pain, suffering, illness and miracles while at the same time it mirrored my physical emotional and spiritual bleeding within. The entire process was instrumental in my ability to navigate through the valley, ignite my faith, erase doubts and experienced God's amazing Grace. God has definitely proved his faithfulness in my circumstances, provided restoration and miracles throughout my journey."May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Romans 15:13 NIV Yvonne M. Nelson, a mother of two, born in Kingston, Jamaica to a nuclear family of love. Graduated 1974 from Gaynstead High School and migrated to the United States of America to study Business. However, after years of studying she proceeded on adventure in the United States Navy as a Hospital Corpsman. She proceeded to fulfill an education in Nursing, gaining a Bachelor and a Master's degree. This experience provided her the opportunity to see life through the eyes of others, adapt to their culture, ethnicity and exposure to religious beliefs that solidify her faith in the Lord Jesus.
