My Destiny is the real-life story of Thomas Rice's journey into being a single parent of a child with special needs. Through this ongoing thirteen-year journey with his son Nikolas, he takes you into the mindset of what parents of children with special needs must endure, the decisions that they must make throughout the lifetime of their child, and the stress that accompanies these experiences. The purpose of My Destiny is to educate and give parents a blueprint to successfully navigate the medical community and the resources associated within the community so they can understand how to tap into the important resources for their children.
