This book is a Poetic compilation of a West African immigrant's life experiences, struggles, vulnerabilities, strengths, religious beliefs and ideologies. Each poem exhibits an understanding of his mindset being influenced by a meaningful moment. Nyowo's childhood was different than most people. He spent the first 14 years of his life in Africa, where his mind and heart were scared by traumatic events. Writing poems served as his coping mechanism during those difficult times. This book is Nyowo's poetic diary.
