Will you be filled with hope and love when you die? You do have a choice. You can take death as it comes. You can grit your teeth and go down like a fighter. Or maybe you can get as much perspective and information as is available and make a sincere and deliberate attempt to prepare the best way you can. This book can help. Death can come like a thief in the night. It can come much earlier than expected. It can come very late, after we have given up hope and have become unable to fully prepare. But it will come. What a gift to have had the opportunity to live. Many have been denied this. What a gift to have had the opportunity to grow in love. Many have rejected this. Why?We have been given intelligence and free will. We can use these gifts to grow in understanding and love, or we can use them to further our own selfish desires. It is our choice. We can see only human weakness and curse the darkness. We can see light and goodness and seek only to increase them. It is our choice. Issues. Issues needed to be addressed-requiring knowledge, and ultimately wisdom, to engage them. This book tries to provide insight into these and similar observations. Whether it can be useful will depend greatly on the sincerity and commitment of the reader to read, to contemplate-devoid of preconceived biases-searching only for the Truth. The source of all goodness, all truth, is God. Without God there are only the shifting sands of human weakness and selfishness. This issue we must address before all others. From there we can proceed with confidence toward the Light.
