How many things do we count? Plates are counted when we set the table. Money is counted when we go to the store. Students are counted when we are in school. We count things to make sure that we have enough or that we are all there.




Farmers count their livestock to make sure that all of them are there and safe. Knowing that all the stock is where it belongs helps the farmer to feel safe and relaxed.
