Hello, my name is Debra Cox. I was born with cerebral palsy. I was in and out of the Shriners' Hospital for Crippled Children in Saint Louis, Missouri, where I had several surgeries to try to correct my walking. I have always wanted to help people but just never could find a way until about three years ago, I decided to start a group to give people with disabilities some encouragement to help them make it through their day. I decided to take the messages and put them into a book not only for people with disabilities but for anyone who might need some encouragement and that could take something from my book to help someone around them.
