Several years ago, the author decided to make dolls for each of her granddaughters for Christmas. This was no easy task since there were fifteen granddaughters. As each doll emerged with its own coloring and personality, Rebecca decided to write a story for each doll and the granddaughter it went to. Here are the first two of those stories. Evelyn's story is about loving our country as she goes back in time with her doll to experience the night that inspired the writing of our national anthem. Allie's story is about the joy of giving as she and her doll give a needy couple a wonderful Thanksgiving. These heartwarming stories will bring joy to both children and parents as they read and share these stories together.
