On a colony mission to a pastoral planet, Rangers find a number of formerly star-traveling races living in mud huts. With native animals affected by electromagnetic fields, Junior Rangers suspect that the devolution is no accident. During an attack on the Homestead, Li'l Mike's head is crushed.
