This story is about female Iraq War veteran, Maria
Gastelum, who experiences Post Traumatic Stress
Disorder and Military Sexual Trauma. She recounts
her experience while attempting to heal from the
traumas by participating in various veteran friendly
retreats and programs as well as attending church.
Sharing about the various people she met during her
triggered moments and how they made an impact on
her life, she opens up about her journey to gain emotional
intelligence and find healing.
