Goose Sense

By: Akua A. Fayette

Goose Sense is an educational tool for adults and children to learn about history, culture, and family as seen through the eyes of geese. The book centers around how children live through innocence and joy until they reach the age when life begins to present itself with negative and positive situations. Through powerful storytelling, readers can analyze how they feel about their friends, family, and adult role models.

From this story, Fayette hopes readers take away the need for unity and compassion and to treat people the way you want to be treated. The most important thing to remember is to let love reflect back on all relationships. The ending phrase of all the stories is, "If only people had the sense of a goose."
