Shayla "Shay" Rodgers

Shayla Rodgers is a nineteen-year-old with many passions. She dreams of being an actress and scriptwriter and using her platform to change people's perspective on how women should be treated. She has been amazed by all aspects of art since she was young. Growing up around people whom she has helped with suicidal depression and eating disorders, this is very near and dear to her heart. During the last few years, she has dealt with many hardships that have given her the inspiration to write poetry. Rodgers hopes to travel, experience new things, and soak up all that the world has to offer. Bourbon-Soaked Thread really unfilters the reality of life and gives a feeling of being heard.

Shianna is a 26-year-old with many aspirations. She finds love in the quaintness of life with her little family. Her goal in this book is to inspire all women through all walks of life. These two sisters used their God given gifts of storytelling, along with both of them being passionate cancer signs, to write this book to inspire and make anyone reading this feel like they are not alone.
