Many people have planned their whole life to either learn a trade, go to college, get a good job, get married, and have kids; but sadly, there are those that never plan for their eternity. Death is real, and there is an afterlife. One day you will spend eternity somewhere. In our body, we have a spirit; and yes, our body will soon decay in the earth.
