On the day of her thirtieth wedding anniversary, Kathy Butaud suffered the unthinkable: the loss of her beloved husband. With the force of a flooding tidal wave, grief, loss and heartbreak unexpectedly swept in. In the midst of the darkness, a letter arrived in Butaud's mailbox: scripted in gold, handwritten and brimming with words of hope, love and light straight from the mouth of God. Kathy Butaud owns a small coffee shop in Port Arthur, Texas and lives in Groves, Texas. She worships and attends services at Life Church in Port Arthur, Texas and enjoys spending time with her "Warrior Chicks" bible study group.
