David: the Man After God's Own Heart Robert K. Johnson

No matter how many times the story of David is told and re-told, its appeal is never lost. In this rendition of that great story, a compelling narrative takes up the bony events and incidents of David's life. It covers them with wordy flesh, tendons, sinew and skin and then provides a refreshing reminder of the timeless Biblical truths and values that have made David a hero for all generations. At the beginning, you will join the cloud of witnesses cheering on as Samuel anoints David. At the end, you will join the jubilation when the boy wonder fells Goliath. Between these two events, you will: - understand the power of confession, - appreciate your gifts and talents, - experience the power and intimacy of the Holy Spirit. DAVID: THE MAN AFTER GOD'S OWN HEART will translate you from the pasture lands of your life to the palace of the king that God has promised His children. ROBERT K. JOHNSON was born in Ghana, holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Ghana, and has received professional training in Canada, Japan, Nigeria and the United Kingdom.
