Everett Blades presents a book of poetry filled with praiseworthy poems dedicated to celebrating God's glory and recognizing His presence in the good and bad times of life. Characteristics of the Christian life as well as commemorating the death and resurrection of Jesus round out the book, which will give readers a panoramic view of what being a child of God is all about. · Each poem is unique, both in content and writing style, exposing the author's writing talents while also displaying the qualities of God, Jesus and the Christian existence. · The commentary and prayer after every poem allows each poem to be fully explained and exposed in purpose. Readers will be able to think more on their feelings towards the poem's message, after seeing the author's complete take on the poem's significance. Everett C. Blades was born in Belize City, Belize. Moving to Chicago in 1975, he began attending church and enthusiastically became a junior deacon. At the age of nine he was told that someday he would be a preacher. Everett is on the road to fulfilling that prophecy. His future goal is to attend theology school and become an Evangelist. Everett attended Chicago State University and majored in Education. He and his family currently reside in Indiana.
