How does a single Christian woman live her life in a way that displays her faith? Debra faced this dilemma, uncertain of how her life could be a positive testimony for Christ. She considered her life a complete failure after divorce destroyed her family. She accepted a position as an ER nurse in a remote part of Alaska to seek God's healing. Debra's heart's desires seemed deferred so long that her hopes for a meaningful life were faded. The Alaskan wintertime challenged her with harsh weather, darkness, loneliness and long working hours. Debra desperately wants to please God and He responds by teaching her how to trust Him in a most unique way.
