A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. (John 13:34-35)

I Am Opens Our Eyes is a blueprint for living a life with Christ as the focus rather than looking to the world's wisdom for "quick fixes."

After continuous failures brought on by looking in all the wrong places, Chaney finally came to a crossroads in his life: continue on the path of least fulfillment, or choose God for joy and peace in his heart. This book recounts countless examples of Chaney's struggles and failures that resulted in him serving seventy months of prison time. Through this very trying time, he turned his eyes toward Jesus and found peace during his incarceration. Since being released, Chaney's life is forever changed as he continues to seek Jesus in every aspect of his life.

What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived--the things God has prepared for those who love him. (1 Corinthians 2:9)

About the Author: Manuel "Trey" Chaney III is the son of Manuel and Bonita Chaney. He earned a degree in exercise science and fitness leadership from the University of Alabama Birmingham and a degree in theology from Titus Baptist Seminary College. Trey uses his education and experience in prison to motivate people to get in shape spiritually, mentally, and physically. Trey is currently a community evangelist who brings Jesus Christ everywhere he goes. He loves to work out and train and is a competitive CrossFit(R) athlete. Trey hopes this book will show readers their need to stop looking horizontally at what's in front of them and to start looking vertically to the great "I Am" who sustains them.
