Circuit Riders on the Road to Glory D Gregory Van Dussen

"This is an extraordinarily timely book for today's pastors and church leaders. We live in an age where people and congregations struggle to stay focused on things of ultimate importance. D. Greg Van Dussen offers the reader a gift as he describes in detail the guiding purposes and priorities behind the circuit riders of yesterday and invites us to apply those same purposes and priorities in our lives and ministries today. Not only does he unlock the past, but his pastoral approach draws us forward to live with the end in mind. His emphasis is not on methods, but on the heartfelt redemptive message of those who have gone on before us. His passion for God is contagious and will encourage the reader with the good news of God's transforming grace. I cannot imagine a more relevant book for Christians today!"

-Nelson Grimm, Professor of Applied Theology, Northeastern Seminary at Roberts Wesleyan College

"This book is an inspired and inspiring text that explores the ministries of ethnically and geographically diverse Wesleyan preachers. This work will be a welcome addition to the libraries of theologians and historians of the Wesleyan movement."

-Christina Dickerson, Department of History and Geography, Quinnipiac University
