More Than A Tremor Rob Summerfield

In early 2017, I was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. I decided to write a series of poems that deal with this traumatic life event. The poetry deals with the physical and mental problems encountered together with a wry look at how the system that is meant to help can be obstructive. While this is a serious personal subject, there is plenty of dry humour on offer.. A number of facets are covered as suddenly things taken for granted become difficult. But the need for positively in the individual shines through the harrowing subject matter to create a work that is both emotional and uplifting..
