We must come to terms there is no argument or excuse for neglect or abuse of any child. Parents, guardians, care takers and family members who neglect or abuse children are no more than criminals. This includes professional authority figures as police officers, teachers, and day care providers guilty of abusing or molesting children. The world appears to have become a very dangerous place for children, but has it always been this way? Many times victims of violence are children or who will never know what it means to become a parent and have children or by no fault of her own. How will our children see the generations before them?
