We spend so much of our single life looking for "The One." Since there is no perfect science to finding the perfect partner, we are forced to find a loving partner through a lot of trial and error. But all our trials are pretty much the same, yet we never take a systematic look at how we go from being single to marriage. I have been a boyfriend, a husband, a single husband* and even the transition man. Each position showed me a different angle of what many are going through. Time and a lot of errors have forced me to open my eyes and pay attention to the process we go through to find a mate. I was tired of getting it wrong like many who are still out there searching. I started looking at the search process we use to finding someone and formed it into something that might help someone to see if the next person they meet is for them. We subconsciously generate a list of must-haves; which are things that we want our mate to possess to show that we are evenly yoked. In this part of the search, it seems we are asking a lot of the next person. In order to capture the attention of a person to go through the process of starting a relationship we must be willing to possess certain tangible items and intangible traits to let the other person know you are worthy of their time and capable sustaining a long-term relationship as well. If you want to have the best chance at being in a long-term relationship you must make yourself "Undumpable."
