Il libro raccoglie una serie di brevi brani musicali composti per mettere in luce come, su una medesima struttura armonica, si possono innestare forme, stili e figure musicali diversi. La raccolta è pensata per scopi didattici. Nel corso di attività di formazione si è infatti rivelato utile esemplificare i meccanismi psicologici attraverso cui si costruisce il significato della musica (e che stanno a fondamento degli impieghi terapeutico-riabilitativi della musica) per mezzo di brani inseriti in una cornice unitaria e riportabili a un identifico modello di base. During training activities it has proved useful to exemplify the psychological mechanisms underlying the meaning of music (and which are the basis of the therapeutic-rehabilitative uses of music) by means of pieces inserted in a unitary frame and grounded on the same model.
