This is my personal journey in becoming a more effective leader. Since publishing my first effort I have first hand knowledge in understanding that one cannot assign the title of coach or mentor until one sees this person in difficult circumstances and can see first hand how they handle true adversity. My choice of mentor's has proven to be a very bad choice in that during a time of intense adversity this person has exhibited the exact opposite of all the characteristics I have described in this book. However the really humbling thing is that I to went down this same path as this person was my mentor and the leader of our company...huge mistake! The basis for effective leadership is contained within this book, however it is not for those with a skeptical heart or those that feel the true sign of a good leader is the profitability shown of the bottom line. Read this book if you are truly committed to making life changes that will force you to daily make choices that put others first, when you do this you will find the power and peace that I had and am working desperately to find again.
