"Back in 1963 when I was born, there were no celebrity cooks on television or social media. Learning to cook meant watching and asking questions." Her family first settled in Williamsburg Brooklyn in February 1898 to 2002. Cooking and gathering around the table is a big part of the Italian tradition and the recipes in this book were created out of necessity to feed large families during hard times and of course holidays.
