Stupid is a Maltese Terrier, he tells the story of Malta WWII. The story starts immediately before the war to the end of the great siege 1943. It is a story of survival. How Stupid (yes that really was his name) lived through the biggest blitz on earth. Malta received more tonnes of bombs in the month of April 1942, (6728 tonnes) which was more than any other place on earth. Secret work took his human Dad away from Malta in 1943. All communication with Dad ceased. Stupid, after the siege, comes to Great Britain by convoy in 1943. Arriving in Liverpool after a hazardous voyage and then to live in Scotland.
