Andrew Murray was a South African pastor and Christian writer who considered missions to be the chief ed of the church. Murray was one of the leading figures during the South African Revival of 1860. Today he is best remembered as a writer of hundreds of Christian books, many of which are still widely read today including Abide in Christ, Absolute Surrender, and With Christ in the School of Prayer.
