A sadistic, psychopathic killer is torturing and murdering at random throughout the city, known to his pursuers only as 'Dust'. As Detective inspector Dexter Stainton and Criminal Psychologist Philip Grant are investigating the spate of brutal and savage murders, they are being goaded by the killer, who seems to be able to get inside of their thoughts and stay one step ahead of them at every turn. A tense cat and mouse thriller where every second counts as ten minutes to midnight approaches.
