God Was There, Even When I Wasn't Amanda S Murry

Life is not always perfect, but we have a God that can get us through anything if we let Him. Growing up, author Amanda Murry met many challenges. She didn't feel close to her family and believed she grew in the shadow of her older brother. She didn't feel close to her peers at school, finding a friend in only a little girl down the street from her. She grew up selfish, not understanding the importance of money or that some things are out of our control. As Amanda grew to adulthood, she found the trials continued. But despite not knowing God while she was growing up, Amanda did find God. She discovered that though she did not know him and had not been with Him in her life before this, He was with her. God led her when she needed to be led and showed her the error of ways when it was needed. He taught her hard lessons but also gave her people to love. He has been by her side her whole life, whether she knew it or not. God Was There, Even When I Wasn't was inspired by God. Feeling moved by the Lord, Amanda wanted to share her story. She hopes that by sharing her story, others who have been in a similar situation or those who are struggling in life can see that they too can come out on top. Everyone should understand that they will face struggles in life. But, don't lose hope. Believe in God, for He is with us always. Author Amanda Murry is wife to a man sent straight to her by God and the mother to two sons. She has always had a passion for animals and barrel racing, which was nurtured by her parents and God. Amanda has been a homemaker for most of her life but is going back to school for phycology and is a life coach. Now she is an author with her debut book God Was There, Even When I Wasn't.
