Worthy. You are. Right here, this very minute. You -- the person that is too fat, skinny, loud, messy, shy, undisciplined, angry. The one who burned dinner or the one who cooked a feast. The one who scrubbed the floors or the one who feels neck deep in clutter. The one who can't button her jeans or the one who slid into a slinky dress. The one who is surrounded yet alone or who can't find a friend outside of Facebook. This is for you. And for me. This is an opportunity to put all our measuring sticks aside and believe. A chance to believe in the intrinsic value of you in spite of all the battles in our lives and our hearts. Because you are worthy. Today. Right where you are. I have a hard time believing it myself. It starts as a choice, and I am choosing to believe that I am worthy. Each day will be a step on the journey of exploring our worth and what that means in real life. Choose to believe today and join me this month on a journey to understanding and living in the truth that you are worthy simply because God created you.
