The dragon's blood coursed down Kediri's throat, scorching it all the way. He could feel it changing him in horrific ways. Gazing at the mirror in front of him, he discovered his eyes were as red as the blood he drank. His hands had become twisted and gnarled into hideous talons. Lifting his dragon wings, he glared at the ragged appendages. They were battle torn and scarred as if acid had dripped down and eaten holes in them. Haunted by his past, Kediri fears this nightmare will become a reality if he drinks the dragon's blood-making him evil. Not even Princess Angelina, who has stolen his heart, can force him to change his mind. Yet if he doesn't drink it, his life is forfeit-he will die from the disease called 'The Curse of the Dragon.' Princess Angelina can detect the potential power in Kediri and is anxious for him to release it.
