Andrew has just graduated college and gotten married to his college sweetheart. Now he has landed a teaching position with a nearby public school system in a small West Texas town. He and his wife, Essie, eagerly move to the town of Stake, Texas to begin their new lives together. Essie will begin her own new career in another year as a social worker. The couple face many challenges ahead including becoming amateur sleuths helping local law enforcement.
